Description:
The bread maker is an artisan bakery and coffee house which provides meaningful work and training for adults with learning disability. To do this they provide opportunities in the coffee house or bakery by enabling individuals to have a realistic experience of what a retail and baking environment entails. The bread maker offers a range of handmade artisan bread products and confectionery made daily on the premises using traditional methods of production. The apprentices are involved throughout the process and enjoy the team work that it entails. The Apprentices have energy for learning and it is the bread maker’s vision that through meaningful work experience and training we share this energy with others in the community. Open 6 days per week from Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.00pm with apprentices working and training within these times.Locations:
